Rachel & Norah

on our last day in portland, kristen nora (the video will explain why) and i (rachel) took in the saturday market, a bit of wading (it was RAINY), a gondola ride, and dinner at the melting pot.

btw- there is video footage i haven't shared from our trip- me discovering kristen doesn't like pesto! who doesn't like pesto? and did you know she makes, likes, and feed hers family
tater-tot casserole!
the video footage i didn't share (to cut down on lengthier videos) is of me asking random people (of course) if they would eat tater-tot casserole. ICK!

so tell me would you (ingredients: hamburger, tater-tots, corn, cheeses, and cream of potato barf soup)?
and do you LOVE pesto?

  1. Sorry Denise, I'm with Kristen on this one. Tater-tot casserole- YUMMMMMY..... Pesto- Wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole!

I think I need to plan a trip to the states, just so I can go to Melting Pot and order that dessert. Seriously?! Although, I think if Michael had sung Kumbaya it would have been even better :)

Looks like you two had an awesome weekend together!

  3. Oh, but I did really like the photo of you laying on the floor at Borders... is that hypocritical? Will you give me grace... eventually?

  4. I love this post! A little bit of this and that, and I too, can't wait to try out a fondue restaurant. My sister has been dying to go so we are planning a trip sometime after the holidays.

  5. I love the idea of an alias at Sbux! I'm totally going to start doing that, but first I have to come up with an outrageous name. Hmmm...

I'm not a big fan of pesto, either. If I had to choose, I'd probably pick tater tot casserole over pesto :)

    Great pictures!
