  9. I LOVE this idea! I went right out and picked up materials to make one for a friend's daughter for her birthday: $4 shirt from Target, $2 socks from Target, $1.50 fabric from Jo-Ann's, then a $6.50 jean skirt from a consignment store (I'm going to add a ruffle that coordinates with the applique). A darling birthday gift for a friend: $13. I'll post to my blog when I'm done :)
