Have you ever read John Bunyan's autobiography? This song reminds me strongly of a quote at the very end of the book, and I will only jot a very small portion of it here:
"...if God doth not come in thought I, I will leap off the ladder blindfold into eternity, sink or swim, come heaven, come hell; Lord Jesus, if Thou wilt catch me, do; if not, I will venture for Thy name."
I love that. As Bunyan said, "I am bound, but He is free..." And it is our sacrifice of praise to "jump." :)

Everybody has to change or they expire. Everybody has to leave, leave their home and come back so they can love it again for all new reasons. I want to keep my soul fertile for the changes, so things keep getting born in me, so things keep dying when it is time for things to die. I want to keep walking away from the person I was a moment ago. Only a good story has a character different at the end than it was in the beginning. Through Painted Deserts Donald Miller "Our whole life was only given to us to advance us by great strides toward our heavenly country." Lancelot Andrews In my life, God is always changing the way I think of Him. I am not saying GodHimself is changing, or thatmy theology is open and I blur the lines on truth;I am only saying I think I know who He is, then I figure outI don't know very much at all. Searching For God Knows What Donald Miller
A proud man is always looking down on things and people: and of course, as long as you are looking down, you cannot see something that is above you. Mere Christianity C.S. Lewis
